Sure, we like to preach here. But this time, you tell us.
A rape crisis centre surely has the right to discriminate against men when hiring its counselling staff (perhaps any staff). An African-Caribbean community centre obviously can't be compelled by law to hire a white guy like me as its director. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/belief/2010/feb/06/equality-bill... These comments are made in "These amendments should stay" by self-labeled White Guy Jonathan Chaplin. My question to you is this: is he right? Does there exist an absolute right to discriminate in some matters? Does it extend to, say, the right to only hire pretty Asian waitresses with big tits in the local Pho restaurant? And who makes those decisions? (Keep in mind that the referenced article was published in the UK, and obviously, different laws would apply in different jurisdictions) Full article is at The Guardian, http://www.guardian.co.uk
